It also reflects our hope that this beacon will shine its light much wider than Ipswich, to provide services for women and children from all over Suffolk.

To celebrate the 102nd International Women's Day, the women of Tattingstone invite you to join them on the Bridge! Why the bridge? Because in the last few years celebrations to support women have taken place on bridges across the world, big and small. Because bridges symbolise connections, safe passage, support and linking together. With exhibitions, a choir and refreshements - we will endeavour to span the length of the bridge to raise awareness of women's achievements and concerns across the world. Proceeds will go to Lighthouse.
