Meet our Patrons

Mark Murphy MBE
Mark has been a patron of Lighthouse for a number of years. He has spoken openly about the domestic abuse he witnessed growing up as a child. He worked for the BBC for over 30 years and was able to highlight many issues surrounding domestic abuse.
He is now CEO of a local cancer charity, an active Rotarian, YouTuber, broadcaster on Suffolk Sound and a newspaper columnist.
Mark is passionate that people shouldn't experience what he and his mum Grace went through.

Sarah Lilley
Sarah is a familiar voice across Suffolk having spent her career working in local radio at SGR FM, Heart, and now as the daytime presenter at BBC Radio Suffolk.
Sarah is incredibly lucky to speak to lots of fantastic local charities doing amazing things, including Lighthouse. Having met the team to find out more about the incredible work that they do, Sarah was delighted to become a Patron and support a cause she cares so much about.
Born and raised in Suffolk, Sarah spends most of her spare time with her husband and two daughters, exploring the county she cares so much about. Alongside her family, Sarah’s greatest passion is a good cup of tea.
